Autistic individuals may have unique ways of communicating, socialising, and processing the world around them. Autism presents in a wide range of symptoms and abilities, making each individual unique and references a spectrum of abilities. Early signs may include challenges in social interactions, difficulty with verbal and non-verbal communication, and a preference for routines.

Assessment, early intervention and a positive pathway for support have been identified to assist in building emotional understanding, social skill development, friendships and meaningful relationships, as well as assisting Autistics reach their goals in the community, with their employment and careers, as well as family life.
