who am I?

My name is Amanda Hawes and I am the owner of The Centred Home and Mind. My goal is to integrate psychology, feng shui and neurodivergence understandings, in a game changing way. I am a psychologist and feng shui practitioner who supports individuals and families to harness the positive energy in their home and minds, and to create a calm world for them to live in.

Positivity, clear intentions and focused mindsets, along with a supportive home filled with love, comfort and calm relationships, is the key to Calming Your World.

My area of expertise is supporting families, specifically neurodivergent families, to unlock that positive support pathway, both in the clinic setting and within their homes. Combining the practice of positive psychology and feng shui principles is a game changer for those living with neurodivergence.

I assist families and individuals in creating the calmest and most supportive environments in the home and in the mind, that supports them when they come across speed bumps in their life (believe me everyone experiences speed bumps), as well as allows them to flourish in the most positive way, beginning from when they wake in the morning, to returning home at the end of the day, and settling into sleep at home.

A home with positive energy allows for the ability to problem-solve more easily, it allows for calm and loving relationships to develop, and it supports the family with positive opportunities coming their way.

An area that I specifically love working with and supporting are families with neurodivergence present. This might be in themselves or in their children.

No matter who we are and what challenges we may face in a family, every family deserves to have support and a calm home and mind.
